I reviewed a set of recyclable muffin cups last week, so why am I turning my attention to a Bake Boss Muffin & Cupcake Baking Pan Review this week?
Well, it’s because sometimes, I don’t want to hand out my bakeware to all and sundry.
There are times when I cook for my kid’s sports teams, school fairs, or take a few cakes to another relative’s home or to a party.
In those instances, I have no intention of replacing my bakeware when I can use a paper sleeve.
And if I’m going to use a paper sleeve for my cakes… why not cook them in a more traditional tray.
The Advantage Over Recyclable Cups
Let’s be clear about this, your muffins and cakes won’t taste any better from using this tray than when you use a recyclable set.
They won’t taste any worse either.
The quality of your baked goods depends on the recipe you use. I quite like this one, below, for example:
You don’t need any wizardry to make awesome cupcakes but there is an advantage over a nice tray with handles… it keeps all your cupcakes together.
Moving them in and out of your chosen cooking device is easier and safer.
One Last Thing About The Bake Boss Muffin & Cupcake Baking Pan
I like silicone-based trays for baking.
The muffin mix or cake mix doesn’t stick to them as badly and they’re easier to clean (even by hand) than metal trays are. It’s not an essential (and I do have metal trays) but it’s nice.
If you’d like to buy this funky looking Non-Stick Silicone Muffin & Cupcake Baking Pan you can pick it up for a very reasonable price from Amazon.
I recommend that you do. It’s really handy.
