I love espresso, really love it. It’s the best kind of coffee to serve after a dinner party or if you need a real jolt early in the morning to get your motor running.
Unfortunately, making espresso at home often requires a very fancy and very expensive machine. That’s not really my idea of a good investment. If you run a coffee shop, spending $1,000+ on a machine makes sense. When you run a home kitchen, not so much.
So, I was really excited to try the Bellemain 6-Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker Moka Pot!
The Bellemain Stovetop Espresso Maker Looks Great
Let’s talk about how this looks for a second because while many kitchen items are a bit uninteresting to look at this coffee pot is cool. It’s unique looking and stylish and I find that visitors to my kitchen are always fascinated by it. It’s a conversation starter.
The espresso is also pretty good. Now, it’s not quite coffee shop quality because you can’t put the water under intense pressure in this pot but it’s 99% of the way there and that’s good enough for me. Particularly, when you consider how much cheaper a home-made espresso is.

Is The Bellemain Espresso Maker Big Enough
The Bellemain 6-Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker Moka Pot makes, as the name suggests, up to 6 cups of espresso in demi-tasse (half glass) servings. That’s more than enough for our dinner parties.
It can be used on pretty much any stove too which means you can use it anywhere! So don’t be shy to lend it to your friends, they’ll love it too.
