Style gurus are going to like this toaster, they’re also going to appreciate the price tag which is lower than most Japanese toaster models.
There are a pair of heaters inside and you can use either one or both at the same time.
You can cook 2 slices at once or even a 9” pizza inside which is very handy.
There’s no steamer but the central cooking unit is very well-sealed, and we’ve not noticed that our toast was any drier than normal when using it.
It’s a very easy model to clean too and you can take everything inside out in a minute.

TIGER Toaster Oven”YAKITATE” KAK-A100-W
TIGER make a range of toasters, but this is their most popular model, the YAKITATE.
It’s a very small but compact toaster oven which has the most easily controllable heat settings of any model in our trials.
The rack inside is removable which allows you a fine degree of control over what you can out inside too.
One thing we really like aboutthis model is how fast it is to preheat.
If you’ve had a long day at work and just need to get a snack on the go as fast as possible –this is the toaster to do it with.

BRUNO Toaster Grill BOE033-WH (White)
We really like the form factor of the BRUNO and the fact that the exterior stays cool even when the insides are piping hot.
The anti-skid feet are a nice touch, and we think if you’ve got kids around, this is a very important feature.
It has a 30-minute timer which is about twice as long as most Japanese toasters, and we think that extends the usability of the device considerably.
We also thought it was fantastically easy to clean which is really important to us, we don’t want to spend longer cleaning equipment than we do eating.

This vertical style toaster will either take your breath away or put you off completely.
We like the practical benefit of having two cooking racks inside and that means you can cook more than one thing at a time with no contamination risk.
It only has 3 power settings but at 300-Watt, 700 Watt and 1000 Watt we don’t think they’re missing anything here.
The height also has the added benefit of reducing the overall footprint of the toaster, if you haven’t go much space on your work surfaces this is a very solid choice.
