Top 7 Best Kitchen Sinks for 2022

It’s probably fair to say that most of us pay very little attention to the kitchen sink, let alone spend hours poring over lists of the best kitchen sinks.

But, perhaps, we should?

You only notice that your kitchen sink isn’t up to the task at the worst moments, it’s not like a refrigerator which is immediately obvious (food’s warm) or a dishwasher (plates are dirty) but something that makes itself known over time in annoying ways.

The worst moment, of course, is if a sink collapses but more often, you have something really awkward to wash and you just can’t get it into the sink to clean it!

This happens more than we’d like to admit and that’s why we decided to investigate the best kitchen sinks, not just for you, but for our own sanity too.

Kraus Standart PRO Stainless Steel Sink

EDITOR’S CHOICE

This farmhouse style looks awesome and it’s very well insulated for noise, it’s our top pick.

BLANCO, Anthracite DIAMOND SILGRANIT Kitchen Sink

TOP RATED CHOICE

This is a big sink made from composite granite that cleans very easily, indeed.

Ruvati Drop-in Topmount Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink

BEST VALUE CHOICE

A very solid sink made from thick steel that you can customize to your needs.

Kraus KHF200-33 Standart PRO Stainless Steel Sink

We found this farmhouse style sink to offer nearly the perfect interior size for our use – 30” is longer than the 28” sheet pans we keep around which are our biggest item for washing.

The only real downside of using this kind of sink is that you will probably need to replace your existing sink housing to accommodate the Kraus KHF200-33. It’s big on the outside too.

BLANCO, Anthracite 441094 DIAMOND SILGRANIT Super Single Drop-In or Undermount Kitchen Sink

The BLANCO 441094 SILGRANIT Kitchen Sink is gorgeous. Silgranit is a registered trademark which covers this exclusive granite compound which is only found in BLANCO products.

It’s not as spacious as our top pick, but it is still a very decent size and it ought to be easy to mount in an existing cabinet.

That makes it very convenient if you’re not looking for a big DIY job.

Ruvati 33 x 22 Inch Drop-in Topmount 16 Gauge Zero-Radius Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink Single Bowl

Ruvati is a major brand in the sink world and the Ruvati Topmount Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink is exactly what you’d expect from this manufacturer.

It has an extra large interior (31”) which is good news if you have some really big items to wash and it should be easy to retrofit in your existing cabinets as the exterior isn’t so large.

Zuhne Modena Undermount Bar and RV Sink

The Zuhne Modena RV Sink is, as the name suggests, the perfect sink to install in an RV or a particularly tiny home.

So, be aware that the bowl is not as big as other sinks in our review and that’s intentional; this is a small sink for small places rather than a sink for every use.

It is, however, excellent for what it is.

Ruvati 28-inch Low-Divide Undermount Tight Radius 60/40 Double Bowl 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink

If you need a low divide sink then you can do much worse than the Ruvati 28” Double Bowl kitchen sink

We prefer our sinks without a divider because it makes it easier to get bigger pans in, but that’s a personal preference and at least the low divider doesn’t make it impossible to wash bigger items in this sink.
