Oxo Good Grips Etched Zester And Grater
The best thing about the Good Grips Etched Zester And Grater is the stainless steel etched surface which makes it very easy to get the zesting done without having to fiddle with anything.
It’s also very reasonably priced for a big brand name product.
They also offer a satisfaction guarantee which means that if you don’t like it, you can get your money back from OXO and we think you can’t go wrong with that.

Microplane 40020 Classic Zester/Grater
The blades on the Microplane 40020 Classic Zester/Grater were “photo etched” which, apparently, is the latest in etching technology and makes for the sharpest possible blades.
We have to agree that we found it to be more than sharp enough to deal with spices such as cinnamon and garlic as well as traditional zesting uses.
Their easy-to-clean stainless steel blades won’t rust as it’s a top medical grade of steel and that also means it’s dishwasher safe and we found that to be very useful, indeed.

Ranaico Zester (Stainless-Steel)
If you’re looking to spend as little money as possible then this Ranaico Zester with stainless-steel blades embedded in a long non-slip silicone sleeve might be just what you’re looking for.
It’s our number one pick for the budget conscious, it can also be a great lemon zester.
We found that it could handle everything we threw at it and in the short-term, it’s going to be a fine tool.
We do wonder whether the non-slip silicone sleeve will last for very long-term use but at this price? It’s not worth worrying about.
We were pleased to see that it came with a safety sleeve to ensure that little fingers won’t accidentally grate themselves while the zester is in storage.

LEMCASE Lemon and Cheese Grater
LEMCASE is a manufacturer with a reputation for high-quality products and the LEMCASE Lemon and Cheese Grater is no exception to the rule.
This is a grater which offers rather more functionality than the previous choices on the list and you can switch out the grating surface as you need.
That means you get a full zester function and a full cheese grater too. That may make it more value for money than other zesters if you don’t already have a cheese grater. Though, if you do, it may be more than you need.
We also approve of the safety case supplied in the box.

Deiss PRO Citrus Zester & Cheese Grater
Our top pick of the zesters on the market for 2020, however, is the Deiss PRO Citrus Zester & Cheese Grater.
We love the sleek look of this which is very stylish and feels like it will age well as fashions change too.
The curved sides can help make it easier to create the force you need to grate tougher spices and we found that it made short work of everything we threw at it.
We’d also note that they’ve designed the grating teeth specifically so that they do not get clogged with the product you are grating and that means it’s much easier and safer to clean than other zesters on the market.
