I love testing blenders. It’s a great excuse for me to make smoothies. I love smoothies. If I could fill a swimming pool with smoothies and swim in it, I probably wouldn’t, but it’s nice to dream about it anyway.
I am on a mission to find the best blender around and this week I’ve had the good fortune to test the Black And Decker FusionBlade Blender. It’s a great economy model from one of the world’s best-known homeware brands.
(For info on blenders see our 2019 Best Blender Guide.)
Straight From The Horse’s Mouth
If you’d like to see the Black And Decker FusionBlade Blender in action, that’s no problem.
The good folks at Black and Decker have made a YouTube video of them putting this toy through its paces:
Yup, one of the nicest things about this blender is its ability to smash ice into a quivering slush.
I love crushed ice, it’s one of life’s little luxuries and when I am not building ice castles in the kitchen, I am popping it in drinks from margaritas to colas. It’s fabulous.
Why Twice The Productivity?
One nice feature of the Black And Decker FusionBlade Blender is that it comes with two personal blending jars. That means you can create two different products without having to finish one first, it’s not a massive deal but given the great price of this blender, it’s another incentive to buy one.
It’s very powerful for the price. It cleans easily. The brand name makes me feel like it’s easy to recommend the quality of manufacturing for this piece.
All told. It’s a bargain.
