I absolutely adore Chinese food and I think my favorite dish is the Chinese dumpling. They’re called jioaze in China and in Japan they are gyoza. They are both pronounced jow-zuh. And not guy-oh-sa. Seriously, it’s cringe-inducing when you hear the latter. Anyway, forget the language lessons – we’re all about the food and, in particular, Maggie Zhu’s dumpling recipe!
