Heidi has seven grilled cheese championship wins under her belt and along with her husband Nate, she runs the American Grilled Cheese Kitchen in San Francisco.

Inside the book, you will find 39 recipes of Heidi’s creation. I’ve been eating one a day since I got the cookbook.
Our favorite is “The Piglet” (a combination of thinly sliced ham and sharp cheddar) and there’s definitely something there to suit every taste (assuming you like cheese, that is).
Heidi deconstructs each sandwich, explaining the choices of ingredients and why they pair in the way that they do with the other ingredients.

Her spicy pickles are excellent, and the recipe was really easy to follow. My husband says that they’re the best thing he’s tasted this year.
