For some, “healthy smoothies that taste good” is an oxymoron. I, too, used to curl up my lip at the idea of so-called “healthy smoothies”.

But I’m committing to a healthier lifestyle as we enter a new decade. 2020 is the year of the the healthy smoothie that tastes good! I’m also upping my blender game with one of the best new blenders.
And with the help of these healthy smoothie recipes I’m confident I’ll be drinking them regularly. Maybe not everyday! But regular-like.

This healthy green smoothie recipe from Natalie at Perry’s Plate lives up to it’s name! It actually tastes good.
The recipe is a modification of one that was included in a Dr. Oz Juice cleanse. But don’t let that put you off. This is one tasty smoothie. And healthy!
Natalie says: “This smoothie was the first green smoothie (smoothie that is actually green and isn’t 95% fruit) that I legitimately enjoyed! It’s also a great place to put kale — the pineapple hides its bitterness so well.“
This recipe from Baily at Simply Sissom is wonderful. Looks and tastes great and is a nice entry to the wonderful world of smoothies for a smoothie newbie.
