Measuring cups are a critical part of any kitchen. They aren’t that glamorous and people tend to not think of them as a priority. Let me assure you they are. Particularly, if you are doing any baking.
You can’t make anything well unless you can get the right amount of ingredients in the mix. I remember when I was little and my brother made cupcakes. He put in a tablespoon of baking powder when the recipe called for a teaspoon.
Guess, what happened?
A stove full of giant flat cake-like saucers that were probably unfit for human consumption, though the dog ate well that night.

Lesson Learned, Measuring Matters
I learned my lesson that day. Measuring things in the kitchen accurately is important.
While the occasional error takes place in our home we usually get things right and that’s in part thanks to this wonderful set of 19 measuring cups and spoons from Prepworks.
You should be able to measure absolutely everything you need for any meal, no matter how complicated the recipe, with these. There are 10 measuring cups which cover ⅛, ¼, ⅓, ½, ⅔, ¾, 1, 1½, 1¾ and 2 cups.
Then there are 9 measuring spoons which deliver 1/32 tsp, 1/16 tsp, ⅛ tsp, ¼ tsp, ½ tsp, 1 tsp, 2 tsp, ½ Tbsp and 1 Tbsp.
They are labeled with both standard and metric measurements which means that you don’t need to worry about where your recipes are coming from. You can measure around the world.
There’s also a pretty handy set of security rings that keep them together when they’re not in use and ensures that you won’t lose any of them.
