If you love iced tea then you need the Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker!
Did you know that iced tea is pretty much the national drink of the Philippines?
It’s true. Wherever you go from Manila to Davao, if you are eating a meal in the Philippines – somebody will be drinking a lot of iced tea to go with it.
You don’t have to be Filipino, however, to enjoy using the Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker.
Despite the brand and device name conflict, there’s a lot to like about this nifty little appliance. I’d like to share a little with you about why.

Let’s Start With A Recipe
If you’re going to make iced tea, you don’t just add ice to a cup of tea. You can do that but most people agree that it’s not the nicest way to make a refreshing beverage.
(If you disagree, that’s cool – I have some fairly odd tastes at times too).

So, What’s Good About The Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker?
Well, firstly you can use any kind of tea – leaves or bags which is good because if you’re like my family, we don’t use a lot of tea except when we’re making iced tea and it’s nice to be able to choose our starting material based on what we have laying around in the kitchen.
Also, it makes a decent 2-quart serving which is enough for a thirsty family (with, perhaps, a little to spare).
It also has a self-cleaning system which makes ownership somewhat easier than you might find with other automated devices.
Of course, the quality of the finished product depends mainly on the quality of tea you use but the brews from the Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker were always pleasant.
