The Proctor Silex Modern Toaster Oven has a very fussy name. Why did they need “modern” in there?
It’s not like you’d buy one that belonged on the Ark, right?
But despite that it’s a great product which made our recent “best of” in our toaster oven guide.
You may find this a little small if you want to feed a family regularly from it but it’s a decent sized 4 slice toaster oven and that means it’s big enough to cook a small pizza in or (at a push) roast a small chicken in.
It’s perfect for couples and singles.
It has a good selection of functionality and can bake and broil as well as toast. Now, there are toaster ovens out there with more features, but they often cost a lot more money than the Proctor Silex and the features are often quite unnecessary too.
This toaster oven does everything you could reasonably want a toaster oven to do.
The price is a big reason to consider the Proctor Silex toaster oven. It’s just over $30 and unlike its cheaper competitors – it looks good too. You’re going to be happy having this sat in the corner of your kitchen.
The build quality is reasonable too. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to find the parts inside showed no signs of heat warping; something that we’ve found can happen in even much more expensive toaster ovens.
Something To Make In Your Toaster Oven
Pizzas, sandwiches, ribs, chicken, etc. are all great but why not break in a new toaster oven with something sweet and which smells absolutely fantastic too? So, try this banana cake in a toaster oven recipe. You’re going to love it.
I really like this toaster oven. The Proctor Silex Modern Toaster Oven combines utility, looks, quality, and value at a great price. It’s the perfect toaster oven for any couple or single and as a backup in a family home too. You really can’t go wrong.
