Hey! I’m back! And still in search of that perfect toasted sandwich maker. Well, I am not sure that there is a “perfect” anything, except possibly in heaven and I am not ready to find out if that’s true any time soon.
However, it has to be said that for less than 20 bucks, the Chef Buddy Panini Press is a truly excellent addition to our kitchen and I don’t think anyone is going to be sorry if they order one.
Katie Bookser Does Panini
Katie is one of YouTube’s lesser-known culinary stars but I have to admit, she sure does know a good panini filling when she sees one. I’d hesitate to call these “recipes” as they’re more a matter of assembly than cookery but… you really ought to check them out, they’ll leave your mouth watering and your whole family screaming for paninis.
Great, aren’t they? I can’t get enough of the Turkey Apple Cheddar. Yum. Yum. Yum.
Chef Buddy Grills Them To Perfection
It’s a panini grill and that has a sort of pass/fail on the ability to make a toasted sandwich. The Chef Buddy does this very well indeed. In fact, my only mild quibble with it is that it takes a little longer to warm up than my other, more expensive, panini grill. But only a little… and it’s much cheaper.
I also like the way the Chef Buddy looks. It harkens back to the tackiness of 1980s kitchens and I am quite partial to kitsch. So, not only do I recommend that you check out the Chef Buddy Panini Press on Amazon, I recommend that you buy it too before the price goes up.
