Want lump free mash potatoes? Keep your blender to hand. You need:
- 4 lbs of potatoes (we like Yukon Gold) which you peel and cut into roughly 2” thick pieces
- 1 tablespoon of kosher salt
- 1 ½ cups of milk (whole milk)
- ¾ of a cup of unsalted butter
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Boil the potatoes for roughly 20 minutes until they are crumbly. Then drain them.
Then add potatoes and all other ingredients to your blender. Blend. Serve immediately. Easy, right?
