Sometimes, we don’t have to do serious products here on Kitchen Authority. Sometimes, we like to cave in to our children and review their favorite product of the month.
My youngest just inherited his father’s old Super Nintendo system and there are now two sets of heroes in his life.
There’s Diddy and Donkey Kong from the Donkey Kong Country series (I haven’t yet explained that Donkey Kong has a very long history in computer games that began before the SNES was a twinkle in a Japanese inventor’s eye) and the Mario Bros. Super Mario maybe the best known and longest lasting characters in computer games ever.
And today’s review is of some Super Mario Fridge Magnets.
Watch Them In Action
If you’re not familiar with the Mario Bros. then you probably had better things to do with your life than park yourself on the sofa and plunk away on a pair of controllers.
You’re probably also a bit older than my youngest who thinks this is the best possible use of his life and certainly more fun than school.
You can check them out in action here:
I have to agree with him, I think that that looks like more fun than my school was too.
Sadly, there was no Mario back in my day, we had to suffice with hopscotch.
So, These Magnets?
Yes, I’m rambling a little. I promised my boy that we’d include these funky fridge magnets on the site, but the truth is they’re fridge magnets.
They’re well made enough that they won’t wear out any time soon (which may or may not be a good thing) and they help you stick recipes and shopping lists to your fridge.
Finally, they do look like Super Mario and that’s all that matters to my son.
