Tea is an under-rated beverage. Here in America, we’re all such passionate coffee drinkers that we often forget about the humble tea leaf. We shouldn’t.
It’s a far more flexible beverage than coffee and there are definite health benefits from choosing green or black teas over coffee too. (For a more general examination of Tea Makers check out our 2019 Guide to Tea Makers.)
So, when I was offered the chance to try the Teavana PerfecTea Tea Maker, I jumped at the chance.
I was surprised to discover (thanks Wikipedia!) that Teavana was started by a husband and wife team who invested their life savings. Starbucks paid them $620 million dollars 15 years later!
My husband loves a cup of tea at breakfast so I’ve been meaning to spend more time getting to grips with tea and this was the perfect opportunity to do so.
Perfect For Sharing
This tea maker is designed for use by a family or by a couple.
It’s not going to cater to large functions because it only makes 2 cups of tea in any one sitting. That’s just right for my home and I suspect it would be for yours too.
You can see the Teavana PerfecTea Tea Maker in action on YouTube in this Best Demo video for the Tea Maker Teavana.
My husband was just happy that we could make a proper cup of tea rather than relying on tea bags as we normally do.
It’s Easy To Use And To Store
I think it’s vital that if you buy something for your kitchen that it’s of good quality and I found the Teavana PerfecTea Tea Maker to be a solid product which I would expect to last.
It was also very simple to clean and though I used a very dark, herbal tea in it, there was no staining or hard to shift marks.
You also want something that is value for money and as tea is never going to replace coffee in my heart, the tea maker is only going to get weekly use and at under $25 it’s solid value for that.
You can find the Teavana PerfecTea Tea Maker at Amazon if you’re ready to buy it.
