Every mom should have at least one healthy eating cookbook in her kitchen. If nothing else, it serves as a kind reminder that we can do better with our diet and that our family deserves it too. The trouble is that there are so many of these types of cookbook now that choosing one becomes harder and harder every week.
So, I am going to recommend Toby Amidor’s The Healthy Meal Prep Cookbook: Easy and Wholesome Meals to Cook, Prep and Go. Why? Because this is the kind of cookbook tailored to a busy mom’s life and not to the stay at home kitchen dweller of the Victorian era.
Meet Toby Amidor
If you’re not familiar with Toby’s work, then you can introduce yourself to her work here on YouTube where she explains the problems with lactose intolerance and what Americans can do instead. It’s very interesting.
A Popular Book
Joy Bauer the Today show’s expert nutritionist says, “Meal planning can often leave people feeling frazzled―but not anymore, thanks to Toby Amidor’s new book The Healthy Meal Prep Cookbook. Toby provides practical tips as well as easy-to-use shopping lists and charts, mouth-watering recipes, and lick-the-page-delicious photos, so you will be ready to jump in and get started with cooking, prepping, and clean eating. Dig in!”
Toby, herself, is a regular contributor to the Food Network and I like her direct and simple writing style. This is also a very affordable cookbook compared to some of the other “celebrity” offerings out there.
